Fun houses, funky houses, elegant houses, digs even the
hippest dog can appreciate…this book is packed with every imaginable dog house
design possible. Doggie domiciles made for indoors and outdoors. Ninety-three
pages of the most outrageous and stunning pet abodes created. For one I, Carly,
am panting over each and every one! This
book even includes the contact information of all the designers of these marvelous
habitats. No waiting for Dad to try out his Christmas power tools while he
tries to “build” something…again.
That’s right you can just contact the designer of the house you want. Tell Dad
he can save his * ahem* “construction skills” for his own projects and just hand
over the credit card.
After pawing through this book of architectural wonders I
decided I don’t just want, I need a
house of my own. Being a doggie Diva, sometimes a girl just needs to get away
from it all – or at least away from those humans that are always nagging, “Quit
jumping on the furniture”, “In or Out,
Make Up Your Mind”, “Get out of the trash”,
“Don’t pee on the table leg” ---(not
to me of course, but to those rather undisciplined human children they seem to
find acceptable to produce on occasion)--- Seriously, have you ever seen the
mess a human litter can make at their own house? Toys, shoes, dirty
socks...granted those things are great for chewing and hacking back up but I
digress.
A super model pup like myself occasionally needs a little
spot to call her own and one of these enchanting doggie houses featured in Barkitechure is just what the vet might
order! I’m sure with a little finagling I just might be able to get my pet
insurance to pick up the tab! I’m not
sure I can really pick my favorite but the little doll house on page fourteen
just may be my pick.
With the author’s tongue-in-jowl commentary of house
descriptions this book makes the perfect gift…well one of the dog houses
pictured inside would make the perfect gift,
but until such time the book is a day dreamer’s delight!
Something to howl about. Yup, this sweet little cottage was built for dogs! |
